As a Support Worker at the Oromocto Training & Employment Centre (OTEC), you'll help individuals with physical or mental disabilities lead more independent and fulfilling lives.

You'll provide day-to-day support that may include helping participants with personal care, supporting them in their job roles, encouraging hobbies, building life skills, and promoting social inclusion. 

You’ll be part of a team that truly makes a difference every day—ensuring safety, dignity, and empowerment are always at the heart of what we do.

In this role, you’ll:

• Support participants with daily tasks and employment-related duties
• Encourage hobbies, personal growth, and social interaction
• Help with personal care while promoting independence and dignity
• Keep accurate notes and progress reports
• Communicate with participants, families, and community partners
• Advocate for participants in community settings
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
